The Hungarian Summit concluded successfully

The first Hungarian Summit taking place in Hungary – cordially organized with the Institute for American Studies by the Hungarian Hub – has concluded successfully. As a closing event of this year's summit, three former ambassadors of Hungary to Washington, György Szapáry, Réka Szemerkényi, PhD and László Szabó shared their experiences in foreign service in moderation of our institute director, Balázs Mártonffy, PhD. All ambassadors agreed that mutual understanding and active listening to the American media outlets are of crucial importance in Hungarian-American relations, along with proactive relationship building and nurturing with Hungarian expats living in the United States, and the promotion of higher education connections and investments between the two countries.

A Hungarian summary of the event can be found on the website of University of Public Service.
