Major General Steven E. Stivers, former member of the United States House of Representatives and Assistant Adjutant General of the Ohio National Guards (OHNG) visited the Eötvös József Research Centre of the University of Public Service. Hosted by the Institute for American Studies, the meeting welcomed representatives of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade and researchers of the Institute for Strategic and Defense Studies. The open and informative exchange of views included a dicussioon on the UPS’ mission, the potential venues for cooperation between the OHNG and the Hungarian Defense Forces, and the anticipated ramifications of the Russia-Ukrainie war.
