IAS organized a roundtable on contemporary domestic and foreign policy challenges facing United States at the Ludovika Festival on 6 May, 2022. The discussion welcomed three speakers to the podium; Michael Anton, former national security council staff member during the Trump administration, Balázs Mártonffy, director of IAS, and Dwight Nystrom, a former American diplomat and researcher of the IAS. Under the moderation of Gábor Csizmazia, a research fellow at IAS, the discussion centered around an evaluation of the Trump administration’s foreign policy, and how it compared with that of the Biden administration’s.
