Dr. Balázs Mártonffy, the director of our Institute, attended the region’s most prominent security policy conference, the 2022 Globsec Forum in Bratislava in June. The event provided a platform to discuss and debate contemporary security challenges and strategies to deal with enhanced pressure on CEE countries. In addition to the presentations delivered by high-level guests and experts, the event proved to be an excellent opportunity to network with other security professionals. Dr. Martonffyor led a conversation with leaders of the GLOBSEC Policy Institute and the George C. Marshall Center. Moreover, he gave an interview on the question of the possibility of European strategic autonomy, and shared his views as a panelist to the Mobilizing support for Ukraine: Humanitarian dimension closed-door roundtable.
